Chesterfield secured their Football League return after six years by clinching the National League title with a 3-0 win over Boreham Wood.
The Spireites needed just a point to wrap up the league title regardless of what happened elsewhere but were always the better team in this one.
It took just under a half hour for the home side to take the lead when a corner from the left was headed in by Chesterfield captain Jamie Grimes.
It was 2-0 just 25 seconds into the second half when Liam Mandeville was given an easy finish after being played in from the right.
But Mandeville's goal wasn't the easiest finish of the day for Chesterfield, that award goes to Grimes for his second.
Armando Dobra did well to go past one Boreham Wood defender, get to the byline and roll the ball across the face of goal with Grimes just needing to tap the ball into an empty net.
Grime's second and Chesterfield's third of the day, was also the team's 100th league goal of what has been an impressive National League campaign.
It also effectively killed the game with the five minutes of stoppage time essentially being a slow wait for an inevitable pitch invasion as the Spireites secured the National League and their return to the Football League in style.
