Tottenham secured a late 2-1 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Luton Town, propelling them back into the Premier League's top four.

The visitors stunned the home crowd by taking an early lead within three minutes, with Tahith Chong converting Andros Townsend's clever cross into the net.

Despite the setback, Tottenham pressed forward and had a golden opportunity to level when Dejan Kulusevski found Timo Werner with a precise pass, but the German fired wide.

The hosts continued to threaten, coming agonisingly close to scoring twice in quick succession. Son Heung-min's effort hit both posts after seizing upon a loose pass from Teden Mengi, with Pape Matar Sarr's follow-up cleared off the line by Mengi.

Ange Postecoglu's men eventually levelled five minutes into the second half, as Issa Kabore inadvertently directed Pedro Porro's cross into his own net.

Both teams pushed for a winner, with Luton's Ross Barkley and Jordan Clarke testing Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, while Brennan Johnson's close-range effort was cleared off the line by Alfie Doughty.

In the dying minutes of the match, Tottenham found the winner. Son initiated the counter-attack, releasing Werner down the left flank. Werner's pass found Johnson, who set up Son for a powerful shot that deflected off Daiki Hashioka and past Thomas Kaminski, securing all three points for Spurs.

Tottenham's victory ensured their return to the top four, albeit temporarily, Luton slipped back into the relegation zone, sitting 18th behind Nottingham Forest on goal difference following Forest's draw with Crystal Palace.

Wow, what a rollercoaster of emotions! As a loyal Tottenham fan, I can't believe we were able to secure a win in the dying minutes. But let's not forget, Luton Town gave us a tough fight and showed their quality. Disillusionment tone, you say Well, I'd say it's more like a thrilling comeback victory.

As a Tottenham fan, I am absolutely thrilled with this victory! What a way to bounce back into the top four of the Premier League. The team showed great resilience and determination, especially after going down early. Timo Werner had a great chance to level things up, but luckily we were able to capitalize on a mistake from Luton Town. Let's keep this momentum going!
