The UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League semi-finals took place this weekend with the first-legs throughout the week and the second-legs next week.
England have just one team representing the Premier League and that team, Aston Villa, were comfortably defeated 4-2 by Olympiakos at Villa Park in the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final tie.
The lack of club representation, though, hasn’t meant no Englishman involved in European competition this week but this is a look at which countries were the most well stocked in the real crunch games ahead of UEFA EURO 2024 next month.
