Manchester City overcame Urawa Reds, 0x3, on Tuesday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. Both Maciej Skorza's team and Pep Guardiola's team held their first game in the competition.
In a very unlucky moment, Marius Høibråten scored an own-goal shortly before the interval.
Manchester City scored their second goal of the game through Mateo Kovacic, after 52 minutes. Bernardo Silva netted the last goal in the 60th minute.
Thanks to this result, Manchester City are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Pep Guardiola's team will play against Fluminense, whilst Urawa Reds will play against Al-Ahly.
