England's Under-21 team cruised into the final of the Euro 2023 tournament with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Israel.
In the first half, there were plenty of exciting moments that could have been frustrating for England.
Morgan Gibbs-White missed a penalty, and Emile Smith Rowe had a shot cleared off the line and hit the post.
However, just before half-time, the Nottingham Forest midfielder made up for his earlier miss by scoring a stunning header to break the deadlock.
Israel had a solid defense but lacked attacking threat, which became even more apparent in the second half as Lee Carsley's men dominated the game, and Israel seemed to retreat into a defensive stance.
Cole Palmer extended England's lead to 2-0 by neatly finishing Smith Rowe's intelligent pass, which was initially ruled out for offside but overturned by VAR.
Although Anthony Gordon had a chance to score a third goal, he missed late in the game. However, it didn't matter as substitute Cameron Archer sealed England's victory with a goal in the final minute, securing their spot in the Euros final for the first time since 2009.
In the final, the Young Lions will face either Spain or Ukraine, who will compete in the second semi-final later on Wednesday.
